Account and identity information
When you create an account or sign in, we receive account data from our authentication provider, Clerk. This can include your user ID, email address, and authentication or session-related information needed to keep your account secure and signed in.
Trading, journal, and account data
We collect the information you upload, enter, or generate in the product. This may include CSV trade history, positions, fills, instruments, timestamps, prices, profit and loss, account identifiers, prop firm details, journal entries, notes, setup and mistake tags, rule profiles, pre-session checklists, purchases, payouts, and related analytics.
Sharing and collaboration data
If you use mentor sharing or public share links, we collect and store the related sharing data. This can include mentor email addresses, mentor access records, journal comments, and the snapshot data you choose to publish through a day-share link.
AI and chart-related data
When you use Edge Report, we may process relevant trading and journal data through OpenAI and others to generate analysis. When you open chart views that require historical market bars, we may request symbol and time-range data from Databento to render the chart experience.
Device, usage, and browser storage data
We and our service providers may receive technical information needed to operate the service, such as browser and device information, IP address, and basic request metadata. We also store certain settings locally in your browser, such as theme preference, filters, drafts, mentor view state, and session continuity data.

Mentor Mode is a read-only sharing feature. If you invite a mentor, that person may be able to view the trading and journal data you choose to make available through the feature and may be able to leave comments inside the app.
Public day-share links are different. If you create one, anyone who has the link may be able to access the snapshot contents. Please only share public links for information you are comfortable making available beyond your private account.
Edgetweak and its providers use cookies or similar technologies where needed for sign-in, security, and service operation. We also use browser local storage and session storage to remember preferences and maintain parts of the product experience.
We do not use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies to track user-identifiable information for advertising, cross-site behavioral profiling, or unrelated third-party analytics.
We do not knowingly permit third-party advertising networks to collect information through Edgetweak for their own cross-site behavioral advertising purposes.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Browser-stored data remains on your device until it expires, is overwritten, or you clear it. Public snapshots and mentor comments may remain available until removed, disabled, or no longer needed for the feature that created them.
We take data security seriously and use layered administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information throughout the service.
These safeguards include authenticated account access, access controls, secure third-party infrastructure and service providers, and ongoing measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of your information.
Edgetweak is designed to handle your data with care and to use security practices appropriate to the nature of the information processed by the platform.
